Witness Statement

What is a Witness Statement?

A witness statement is the document the parties will be asked to produce at a specified date in an Employment Tribunal (or County / High Court) claim. The individuals who have relevant evidence to give to the Employment Tribunal or court will need to produce a Witness Statement in which they explain their role and what happened.

The quality of a witness statement can win or lose a case and aside from the pleadings, is the most important stage in the preparatory work for a hearing.

We have a wealth of experience in drafting witness statements to a very high standard.
