In the course of more than 20 years of practise, I have advised and represented employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including, TUPE, senior employee severance agreements, breach and enforcement of restrictive covenants, unfair dismissal, discrimination and redundancy. I also provide advice and conduct investigations in relation to alleged misconduct.
Additionally, I have advised and provided representation to professionals in relation to Fitness to Practise proceedings before regulators including, the Health and Care Professions Council, General Osteopathic Council and Nursing and Midwifery Council following serious allegations of misconduct and lack of competency.
In 2016 I was appointed to a panel of Legally Qualified Chairs for police misconduct proceedings and have since conducted hearing within several police regions.
As regards client relationships, I work collaboratively with clients with a view to achieving their agreed objectives and provide a prompt and cost efficient service. From the outset of the retainer, I provide my clients with pragmatic advice to ensure that they appreciate the risks of litigation.
